Madness is presented at Zuloo's. Tony's has a show on Sunday nights with the infamous Jan Adell and that. notorious Victorian queen, Jenny. Then of course we have the 22nd Queen's Birthday Ball coming up

soon.

9.

Zullo's May Day Party is on the 1st. If you haven't bought your tickets yet, then it may be tough. The Planet Sluts and Amanda are appearing and the Mr Zuloo's Contest is being judged. The May Day march on the 2nd will have a gay contingent again. Meet at the CAMP Club at 9am, or in Mary St at 10am.

Le Club on the Suncoast now has a disco every fortnight in addition to their montly dinners. Details from Trisha on (071) 43-5546. Jumbucks Social Group (for gay men over 21) is becoming more popular. Plenty of activities

are

and new welcome: contact Graeme on 445588. Young Gays is becoming bigger, they held a camp-out at Caloundra with lots of other events on the agenda. Phone David on 2299921 for information. The AFAA's Monday "Get Physical" disco at the Alternative is mildly popular. It's the only place open till 1am on Mondays, and then there is the Tuesday "Disco on the Hill" which is packed to the brim.

Local gay newspaper "Word Is Out" may be going through some changes soon. The old collective printed their last issue in April, and a new body has taken it over. And the Gay Radio News is no longer being broadcast, because its producer is moving south. Time Off now has a gay page. It is a free entertainment guide covering south-west Queensland usually concerned with the 'straight' venues.

Finally, the Northern Rivers Gay Group are having a social at Mike's in Grafton on May 14 at 3pm. Phone Jim for details (066) 79-5270.
